What is Cornerstone Kids?
Cornerstone Kids is Cornerstone's Children's Ministry Program. Each environment offers a safe, interactive, and loving atmosphere where children can grow spiritually and relationally. Each environment is unique and developmentally appropriate for that age group.
We offer Cornerstone Kids at both services: 9am and 11am.
What can I expect when I bring my child to Cornerstone for the first time?
Our children's ministry building is located two doors down from our Berkmar Campus. When you arrive, our check-in desk is located in the lobby of our children's ministry building. A Cornerstone Kids attendant will have you fill out a registration form for your child. Your child will be given a name tag with a number specific to your child and give you a matching tag with the corresponding number. Once your child has a name tag, he or she is ready to learn in one of our age appropriate environments. The attendant will direct you to your child's room.
Each environment has a teacher and a helper who have a passion for children. All volunteers are required to complete a background check before serving in order to make our environment as safe as possible. They will learn how to worship God during an interactive worship time, read a bible story, and have several crafts or games that reinforce the lesson. We teach in month series provided by Orange Curriculum.
How can I become a Cornerstone Kids Volunteer?
We are always looking for dedicated volunteers for our Cornerstone Kids Program.
