What is Cornerstone Kids?
Cornerstone Kids is Cornerstone's Children's Ministry Program. Each environment offers a safe, interactive, and loving atmosphere where children can grow spiritually and relationally. Each environment is unique and developmentally appropriate for that age group.
We offer Cornerstone Kids at both services: 9am and 11am.
What can I expect when I bring my child to Cornerstone for the first time?
Our children's ministry building is located two doors down from our Berkmar Campus. When you arrive, our check-in desk is located in the lobby of our children's ministry building. A Cornerstone Kids attendant will have you fill out a registration form for your child. Your child will be given a name tag with a number specific to your child and give you a matching tag with the corresponding number. Once your child has a name tag, he or she is ready to learn in one of our age appropriate environments. The attendant will direct you to your child's room.
Each environment has a teacher and a helper who have a passion for children. All volunteers are required to complete a background check before serving in order to make our environment as safe as possible. Your children will learn how to worship God during an interactive worship time, read a Bible story, and have several crafts or games that reinforce the lesson. We teach in monthly series provided by Orange Curriculum.
How can I become a Cornerstone Kids Volunteer?
We are always looking for dedicated volunteers for our Cornerstone Kids Program. All of our volunteers go through Growth Track after which background checks, training, and an on-boarding process happen so that all of our volunteers are offering a safe, fun, and loving environment that any child would feel welcomed in and any parent would trust.
